Institutional Presence

The Romanian Embassy in Moscow ensures all the representation functions of Romania in the Russian Federation, being responsible to promote the goals of the foreign policy of Romania and the development of bilateral relations.

Another core function of our diplomatic mission is to facilitate the interaction between various Romanian and Russian entities (political, economic, cultural etc), as well as to convey messages of national importance and to serve the interest of the Romanian citizens in the host country.

The Consular Section of the Romanian Embassy in Moscow, together with the General Consulates in Sankt Petersburg and Rostov on Don, provides to the Romanian citizens the needed consular assistance and maintains the contacts with them.

The Romanian National Tourism Promotion Office has the role to promote the potential of the Romanian tourism in the Russian Federation, functioning as a bridge for those interested in knowing Romania and, respectively, for the representatives of the Russian tourism industry.
